Our cylinders feature the standard American Safety Standard Helium 580 valves that can be filled at welding & gas supply shops, allowing our customer's more filling locations throughout the US. Nonstandard 580 custom helium valves require filling at helium gas suppliers that have the proper male fittings needed for custom regulators; this limits the availability of locations where custom helium valved cylinders may be filled. Our helium system valves are designed to be filled at sites that offer industrial NON-USP helium gas. This 120 CU FT system is made up of 2 BMC 60 CU FT Helium Cylinders and 1 BMC regulator with hose.

USP helium gas (MORE EXPENSIVE) is medical grade helium suitable for breathing, as well as a wide variety of invasive & diagnostic medical procedures.

Buyer's Guide

120 CU FT Fishing Kite Helium System

BMC Helium Systems Cost Comparison Analysis

Disposable cylinders cost $25 to $30 each and will only fill 1.5 to 2 balloons, depending on user, & technique. Average cost: $12 to $15 per balloon fill.

Based on cost and filling limits of disposable cylinders, the BMC Helium System will save you money.

  • 15 CU FT Tank Cost at $3.06 per balloon
  • 24 CU FT Tank Cost at $2.27 per balloon
  • CU FT Tank Cost at $1.26 per balloon

NOTE: Cost of filling tanks includes a set amount for the actual filling of the cylinder (Filling Charge) in addition there is a fee per cu ft of gas. The costs used are for the purpose of our explanation only.

FOR EXAMPLE: Cost to fill cylinder: $10.00, cost per CU FT $0.15 using this example of cost the following will be true:

  • 15 CU FT = $10 fill charge + $2.25 for gas, COST: $12.25
  • 60 CU FT = $10 fill charge + $9.00 for gas, COST: $19.00

Selecting A BMC Helium System

When selecting this system, first and foremost is space! If you have the space for the 60 CU FT Cylinder, then that is your best bet, if you don't, a smaller cylinder will best suit your needs.

Another consideration is how often you use this system? If you only use it twice a year, then it would make sense to keep using disposable cylinders, however, if you use it 3 or more times per year, then one of our systems will pay for itself in the first season. Helium fills may not be available in all geographical locations, it is best to check for availability. For customers who do not have helium fill stations, only tank exchanges, we offer our BMC Helium Regulator.

Here are the dimensions of our aluminum cylinders:

  • 15 CU FT 21 INCHES HIGH BY 4.25 INCHES Diameter
  • 24 CU FT 27 INCHES HIGH BY 4.30 INCHES Diameter
  • 60 CU FT 28 INCHES HIGH BY 7.25 INCHES Diameter
  • CU FT 37 INCHES HIGH BY 7.25 INCHES Diameter (SPECIAL ORDER)

CYLINDER HEIGHTS INCLUDE CYLINDER HANDLE AND VALVE PROTECTION SYSTEM

We know this sometimes can be a confusing subject! If you have any questions regarding our system, or which system would best suit your needs, please feel free to call me at (954) 263-6177

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Our cylinders feature the standard American Safety Standard Helium 580 valves that can be filled at welding & gas supply stores. This allows more filling locations throughout the US.

Non-standard580 custom helium valves require filling at helium gas suppliers that have the proper male fittings needed for custom regulators; limiting the number of locations where custom helium valved cylinders may be filled. Our helium system valves are designed to be filled at sites that offer industrial NON-USP helium gas .

USP helium gas (MORE EXPENSIVE) is medical grade helium suitable for breathing, as well as a wide variety of invasive medical procedures.
