The new ergonomically designed Kristal XG 2500 D Electric Fishing Reel features a state of the art high torque motor that maxes out at 150 plus pounds of maximum drag for unmatched fish pulling power and dredge pulling capacity. The XG 2500 D features two sizes of interchangeable high line capacity narrow spools that allow for total line control without the need for a level wind. Our new drag design allows the angler to make infinite uninterrupted seamless drag adjustments throughout the fight. Available in 12 & 24 volt.

The XG 2500 models are new for 2023. The XG features the most powerful motor Kristal has ever used on an electric fishing reel, giving this series more pulling power than the XF models. Available in 12 & 24 volt versions, this reel has the pulling power to pull the largest dredges, and handle large swordfish. Given the amount of pull the reel can exert, we decided to use an interchangeable spool system that features a deep high capacity narrow spool that allows for manageable line pickup without the need for a level wind. The spare spools are available in composite and aluminum models.
The XG 2500’s ergonomic design features Kristal’s new seamless star drag system with infinite drag settings that range from 0 to 150 plus LBS maximum drag. The drag can be adjusted during the fight without the need to free spool the reel, adjust the drag, and then re-engage the drag, this allows for seamless uninterrupted fishing and dredge pulling operations. Anglers wishing to pull large dredges from the transom using traditional dredge rods may use the XG 2500 to pull the largest dredges. The high drag settings will not allow line slippage due to dredge weight and surface area, making the XG a very desirable reel to accomplish pulling a dredge without an A Frame.Louis CEO/Owner
